We are thrilled to have the opportunity to display David T Wright’s stunning paintings on our gallery walls for the month of August. David’s oil paintings are breathtaking in both their skill and their scale.
All of the paintings will be for sale, and we will be donating 25% of all sales revenue to the Canadian Red Cross Nova Scotia & Atlantic Canada Wildfire Appeal on David’s behalf.
Join us on Thursday August 3rd from 6-8pm for an opening reception.
More about the artist: Having received a First Class Honours degree in Painting from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, and a Master of Fine Art degree in Painting from Reading University in England, David moved to Toronto in 1972, and has exhibited consistently since then in galleries in Canada, the U.S.A. and Mexico.
His work is represented in more than one hundred Corporate and Public collections and in several hundred private collections internationally.
From 1993 until 2007 he maintained painting studios in Mexico and in Ontario.
David has taught painting and drawing at numerous institutions including the universities of Guelph, McMaster, Brock and Ryerson; Dundas Valley School of Art, Fanshawe College, Sir Sanford Fleming College, and the Toronto School of Art.
David moved to Liverpool, Nova Scotia in 2012.
