Purchasing Tickets
COVID-19:
We are now able to have full capacity audiences in the theatre and galleries. By entering the Astor Theatre you agree to adhere to any Federal, Provincial or Municipal health & safety directions and venue protocols related to COVID-19. You recognize the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume any associated risks.
In person: Tickets can be purchased at the box office during regular box office hours:
Wednesday through Saturday 11am until 4pm
Open on performance days 11am until showtime
By phone: 902-354-5250 during business hours
Online: Tickets can be purchased online via Ticketpro
*Please note ticketpro charges a $4 surcharge on all ticket purchases. This fee is always included in the ticket price.
*The Box Office reserves the right to select seating for tickets purchased within 30 minutes of curtain time.
*When buying tickets through Ticketpro online, please make sure you have completed your transaction and have received a confirmation email from Ticketpro. Otherwise your purchase will be incomplete. To avoid disappointment, if you are having difficulty purchasing tickets online please call our box office at 902.354.5250 (Wednesday to Saturday 11am-4pm) and we will be glad to assist you. *The Astor Box Office DOES NOT put tickets “on hold” for anyone. The only way to ensure you get tickets is to purchase them.
*General admission(price) DOES NOT mean General seating (unassigned seating).
Ticket Refund/Exchange Policy
*Please note that all sales are final. Tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE. If an event is cancelled you will be advised by email or by phone on how to get a refund or use the tickets for the rescheduled event date. Refunds cannot be made once the ticket has been purchased. Tickets will be accepted for resale prior to the performance, and if a purchaser is found, the ticket price will be refunded. In the event of a show cancellation, refunds will be made available. Tickets can only be exchanged for a different performance of the same show. Exchanges will be accepted until 24 hours prior to the first performance.
