Universal Pictures announced a theatrical re-release of the 1995 film Casper this October, to celebrate its 30th anniversary, featuring remastered visuals for a home viewing special edition. The movie, which stars Christina Ricci and Bill Pullman, was a blend of live-action and groundbreaking CGI for its time, telling the story of a friendly ghost seeking companionship.
An afterlife therapist and his daughter meet a friendly young ghost when they move into a crumbling mansion in order to rid the premises of wicked spirits.
*The sensory friendly screening at 11am on Saturday will have a lower volume, house lights on, and the atmosphere is very relaxed – people can make noise and come and go as they choose. Everyone is welcome!
Rated PG: The film contains some mild language.
