Artist Willo Treschow is excited to lead a Spirit Doll workshop that dives into self-exploration, creative expression, and an inspired community! For thousands of years, people have created and used dolls as sacred objects for healing, transformation, empowerment, and ritual.
In this workshop, we will create our own Spirit Dolls with simple materials and heartfelt purpose in the manner of the figure-makers of every age and culture. We will each set an intention for our doll, and as we construct it, we will make artistic and intuitive choices that result in a cherished possession.
Participants may bring small, meaningful objects to add to their Spirit Doll. The workshop is three hours, so please bring a light refreshment to keep the energy going.
Sign up quickly for this empowering workshop, as places are limited.
$120 per person, all materials provided.

What better way to celebrate the return of spring than to create a pine needle basket with local artisan Willo Treschow?
The needles used in the workshop are from the Ponderosa Pine found in the interior of British Columbia; a long-needle pine that is stronger than our native Nova Scotian pines.
Join Willo as she shares the pine needle weaving skills she learned during her time in BC.
Let’s celebrate spring and learn the traditional art of pine needle basket weaving!
