Edmund Zygowski’s work has to be seen to be believed! A stunning marriage of glass and mechanics, his work is a treat for all the senses.
Edmund spent his childhood in an industrial Lancashire cotton town, and his early adult life in various art schools and working as a toolmaker and engineer. He soon developed a keen interest in small mechanisms, which ultimately led him to study antique clock restoration and conservation.
After emigrating to Canada in the 80s, and becoming interested in studying the art of glass, his work became focused on mechanical visibility and exposing the secrets of mechanical operation.
This show will only be in our gallery for a short time – from November 6th to 16th, so don’t miss out. The opening reception is at 6:30pm on Thursday November 7th – please join us if you can.
