Jesus Christ Superstar

For three performances on August 18^th, 19^th and 20^th, South Shore Summer Theatre will be bringing their production of the legendary Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, Jesus Christ Superstar, to the Astor!

Based in Mahone Bay, South Shore Summer Theatre is a new musical theatre program for youth, giving young people on the South Shore an opportunity to develop, rehearse and present this full-scale musical with a live band at the Astor Theatre, Liverpool, from August 18-20.

 SSST is based on a successful program that has been producing Broadway musicals in North Bay, Ontario, for more than 30 years. Some of the “graduates” of that program have gone on to successful careers on Broadway and in film and television. Led by an experienced team of producers, directors, choreographers, vocal coaches and musicians, Jesus Christ Superstar should not be missed!
