*AUDITON CALL: FOLLIES* Astor Theatre’s Winds of Change Production

Do you want to be part of The Astor Theatre and Winds of Change’s first theatrical performance together? Then you will want to audition or join our production team and become a part of history! Set to hit the stage from February 22nd- March 3rd with an 8 Show Run, this will be a winter event you won’t want to miss!

Follies is a theatrical event, a legendary masterpiece and is considered by many to be the greatest musical ever created. Surreal, sophisticated, compelling, heart wrenching and epic in scope, Follies by musical theatre legend Stephen Sondheim and author James Goldman uses the musical theatre as a metaphor for the collapse of American innocence and naivete in the post-Kennedy years.

Follies is a showcase for powerful dramatic actors with plenty of opportunities for seasoned, older performers. Spectacular and grand in scale, Follies has also proven ideal for concert presentation and features many of Stephen Sondheim’s best-known songs.
